Mom (RIP October 23 2005)

Two years ago today was my mother's last day on earth. Her name was Theresa Marie Kent. It's not that I don't have a mother now, I simply don't one here, in person. I still talk to her from time to time. I ask her to give me special graces. I still vividly remember the day she died. We, the kids, were home alone and the first thing I thought when I heard the news was "I need Dad". It was the longest day of my life, and it has always stuck with me.
